For me the 1970's and 1980's were a great time on the railways, lots of loco hauled trains, still plenty of different loco classes and the now long lost sight of a mixed freight train. The 14 galleries here chart the passing of this time. Most of the images were taken by me but over the years the number I have acquired has increased greatly. Where known the original photographer is credited.
