73138 powers a Victoria to Gatwick service through Windmill Bridge Jct between Selhurst and East Croydon. The poster hoarding declares 'A new stretch of railway to speed your journey' The junctions between East Croydon and Selhurst were masively reorganised and rebuilt for the coming of the Gatwick Express. The slide is undated but probably not taken long after the May 1984 start of the Gatwick Express. This is one of four slides acquired and obviously taken by a BR employee who probably worked for the S&T department.
