One of the perks of working for BR was the ability to get a discount rate at British Transport Hotels. November 1981 saw me take advantage of this and a couple of nights at the Station Hotel in Inverness.
26030 crosses the River Ness on the final part of it's journey with an afternoon train from the Far North of Scotland to Inverness.
