73101 was renumbered 73100 and named 'Brighton Evening Argus' to comemerate the papers 100th birthday. Considering the paper never had a good thing to say about BR or the railways in general ( and still doesn't ) this was rather an odd move. The loco was known locally as BEA. Slide dated 31/12/80 just after the ceremony.
