Coach RDB977091 was built by British Leyland as an experimental prototype TSO incorporating Leyland bus body parts on the underframe of former Mk1 BCK M21234. It was regularly on the Brighton to Manchester Piccadilly services. Here it is seen in the formation of the 1023 from Manchester, approaching Patcham tunnel.
The coach is preserved on the East Kent Railway at Shepherdswell.
