Lovers Walk2 1984

and this is the view.
The current main line is to the left of the signal gantry. The new mainline is the fresh track to the right.
The former Pullman Car works can be seen in the background. These were used to store the surplus locomotives from the National Railway Museum until York Museum was extended. The Pullman Car works was the target of an arson attack and was sadly pulled down a few years ago. Photos of the demolition can be seen here:-
