About to pass the distant signal for Haxby station level crossing 45112 'Royal Army Ordnance Corps' is working 1L36 the 1740 Scarborough to York service. Towthorpe Lane can be seen on the other side of the tracks. This is very near the proposed site of the new Haxby station......not very convenient for anyone in Haxby. 35mm slide dated 12/5/84.
