45135 '3rd Carabiner' waits to depart Hull with 1J01 the 1324 to Brighton. This train will be attached at Sheffield to a portion from Leeds. Rather oddly the train appears to be formed of Mk1's when it should be air braked Mk2's. Has the inbound service from Paddington run late? Is this a scratch set to cover? If anyone has an answer to this please let me know. The date is a Saturday...engineering works? Details of the cross country services to Brighton can be found on my other website www.1S76.com Medium Format 6x7cm negative Image dated 18/1/86 Photographer Colin Marsden
