Before Victoria station was submerged by the shopping centre 73142 'Broadlands' on a Gatwick Express service waits alongside 4CIG 7310 on a service to Hastings.

The disc on the front of the class 73 denotes the circuit number, 7 were required for the full service although 6 could suffice with reduced turnaround time. The discs were fairly short lived.
