3D 1316 leads a 3H unit on a Victoria to East Grinstead service through Windmill Bridge Jct between Selhurst and East Croydon. A train with a 2EPB unit leading can be seen on the slow lines at Cottage Junction. The junctions between East Croydon and Selhurst were masively reorganised and rebuilt for the coming of the Gatwick Express. The slide is undated but probably not taken long after the May 1984 start of the Gatwick Express. This is one of four slides acquired and obviously taken by a BR employee who probably worked for the S&T department.
