47459 and the 0907 Brighton to Manchester Piccadilly turns right at Bordesley Junction, it will pass the Birmingham City football ground, before turning left at St Andrews Junction where it will join the WCML and then into the gloom of Birmingham New Street station. The class 47 will be removed there for an AC electric locomotive to take the train forward to Manchester.
