A cold day at Manchester Piccadilly and 45073 waits to depart with the 1515 to Harwich Parkeston Quay. A leaky steam pipe between the Peak and MK1 CK E15763 makes for an atmospheric image.
This train was a regular 'home' train, if I was staying at my relatives in Nottingham as it would get me back to Nottingham around 1700 and bus back to Clifton Grove in time for dinner.
