A very interesting selection, the opens and cartic show how popular this service was during the 1970s and how it faded away in the 1980s as the road system improved (and I suspect that fuel was relatively cheap and cars far more reliable). The enclosed Newton Chambers in the West Country are very interesting, I had always thought of them being used on the East Coast services.
