OK so its not a railway image....... This image just caught my eye. To me the archetypal Southdown 'country' bus Leyland Leopard/Willowbrook 195, KUF195F on route 156 to Chichester. Thanks to Brian Boddy and the Southdown Enthusiasts Society for the following info. Route 156 ran Thursdays only and only one round trip between Compton and Chichester. Dates of operation 6/12/73 to 30/1/75 when the route was renumbered to 256.
