After the DfT withdrew the direct Brighton to Birmingham services in December 2008 it left several stretches of line in the London area bereft of passengers services. As no closure notice was issued the DfT through Arriva trains was forced to put on a bus service between Ealing Broadway and Wandsworth Road running once a week each way on a Tuesday. This is a small set of photos from my trip on the bus on the 13th January 2009. Closure notices have now been issued for the December timetable start date. THIS SERVICE NO LONGER OPERATES.
