4VEG 7911 S76526 in Streatham Hill shed after running away as part of a 12 car train and colliding with the big concrete buffers at the end of the washer road. The concrete buffers won.br/I think the collision happened the previous Saturday as I remember passing the derailed train at Balham Jct whilst enroute to London and a trip out.br/Image dated 16/6/80.
