47424 arrives at Kensington Olympia with the 0749 Liverpool Lime Street to Dover western Docks. This was one of the 7 new direct Intercity trains introduced from the North West to the South Coast via the WCML amd Olympia. Three to Brighton, Three to Dover and One to Newhaven Marine. They weren't to last...the Newhaven service lasted just a year.
