87022 'Cock of the North' gets away from the West London Junction at Willesden with 1M50 the 1355SO Eastbourne to Manchester Piccadilly. At this time this and the southbound equivalent were the only Cross London Intercity workings to run via the West Coast mainline. everything else ran via Reading. Hopefully the person taken the photo was allowed on the track!
